CARLSBAD, CA., January 31, 2007 - Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) today announced the winner of the Company's Golf Professional of the Year Award, as well as the winners of the Company's fifth annual Club Fitter of the Year Awards.

Brad Martin, from the Olympic Club in San Francisco, California, was named the 2006 Callaway Golf PGA Professional of the Year for his overall excellence as a club professional - an honor that recognizes both a high level of proficiency at playing the game and the skills necessary to run a successful business. Martin won several Northern California section events and finished in the top five in the section points race based on wins and consistent play. A skilled competitor, Martin made the cut in the PGA National Club Professional Championship, and he also competed in the Callaway Golf Pebble Beach Invitational.

The recipients of the Callaway Golf 2006 Club Fitter of the Year Awards are being honored for their exceptional achievements using a Callaway Golf Custom Fitting cart at their facilities. Each of the winners has shown outstanding support for the Company's club fitting programs while providing a valuable service to their customers.
