CARLSBAD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 29, 2008--Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) today announced it has reached an agreement with Justin Timberlake to endorse and play Callaway equipment. The terms of the contract are not being disclosed.

Host of the PGA Tour's Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Timberlake is an avid golfer and a six handicap. Timberlake will play a full complement of Callaway Golf clubs, golf balls and will carry a bag branded with the Company's logo.

Timberlake, 27, has impressed many with his skills on the golf course, establishing both his commitment and credibility within the industry. He recently announced the opening of his own eco-friendly golf course in Memphis, TN. Mirimichi Lakes, formerly Big Creek Golf Course, is expected to open next summer and its clubhouse will be seeking Platinum LEED certification, the first to be certified in the United States.
